Surviving The OddsSurviving The Odds
A Pokemon and Trainer bond is something that has been held sacred for many years. I'd know. I myself am a Pokemon. I am a shiny Umbreon. It was back when I was an Eevee when I met my trainer. I was all alone in the city. The big moving machines that humans rode in frightened me. I was told by a few stray Meowth that sometimes Pokemon get hit by them and die.
I decided to stay put. It was later that night when instead of the cold wet alley under the street light I felt caring warm arms. "What an odd color well I don't see why she is out here all alone." I opened my eyes and looked up to see a human boy.
I wasn't quite sure if I would get along or even really get to know my new friend and partner but some time and battles were all we needed.
It was a month later when I had evolved. He was so proud of me. He had treated me like a member of his family. I felt like I had finally found a place where I could call home. All the battles that got me to b

She sits at her table in her small old house. The air has a scent of lavender. What a calming incense. The candles that are lit around her small home burn brightly as she works. But she was so very lonely. Her children had been taken away from her by the plague and her husband was taken by war. Now with needle and thread she creates a new friend.
Sewing stitch by stitch of so very carefully for the simple fact she did not want to make any mistakes. Sprawled out on the table before her is a grey long armed down with a zipper grin. Eyes. We need to add the eyes. She thinks, looking for a few spare buttons. While she rummages through her drawers the candle light goes out. She looks around fearlessly. "Who is here?" She said calmly.
In the darkness she saw red eyes. She grabbed a match and lit it quickly. She saw her creation had found its way to her.
"What an intelligent little doll " She said softly, scooping up the doll. "I think I shall

"Extra extra read all about it! Two more children have disappeared! Is there no end for the horror that has disturbed our town?" The paperboy read aloud in the middle of the market. Parents held their children close and look amongst the crowd. "Gwen, Mitch let's go before it gets too late." My father said to us. I look over at my younger brother Mitch, who was pouting. "C'mon. Maybe we can split some of the candy we have stashed." His face lit up with joy and we walked our normal route home.
The stone path looked so pretty in the light of the street lamps. We made our way into the house. I stayed out a bit longer. "Remember to come in right when it gets dark Gwen!" My mom called out. I nodded and walked up and down the stone path.
For an eleven year old I was pretty smart and remembered this path very well. It cut through the forest that surrounded our cottage. I looked down and noticed red stains on the rocks. I be

Ilex Forest is a place that everyone who has ever passed through Johto should be familiar with. I bet you don't know how the Pokemon that live there got there to begin with. Arceus didn't put them there.
Once so many different Pokemon disputed over the territory. Let me tell you the story in perspective of Hukaso the Parasect and how the Pokemon of Ilex Forest came to live there.
I lay still in the large tipped over tree that I inhabit. The claws of the Mightyena Pack that rules over our precious home are scratching at my home. I cower in fear that they would actually get me. I hear their laughs as the attack recedes. This was a daily thing for me and the lower Pokemon that lives there.
They chase the Zubat's prey away. They chew and swat at the poor Oddish's. They always rip off the young Paras's mushrooms. Fear shouldn't be the way to live in this beautiful forest.
It was late at night when we gathered under the twinkling stars and under almighty Ar

It was a bright day, the day that I died. I was so happy I was tipped off where I could find wild Wobbuffet. Dark Cave. The home suited for the one I captured let me explain to you my story.
I was an average trainer who was given a POKéDEX. I was constantly looking for new Pokemon. I charted their migration patterns. I observed them. They were my friends. I was tipped off by one of my helpers that they would appear in that cave. I wish I hadn't of heard.
I went into the cave with my trusty Poliwag. I had a Great Ball in my hand. My Poliwag turned and used Bubblebeam. I turned quickly and looked at what he had hit. It was a Wobbuffet. A female one. I quickly threw my Great Ball and waited. One two three click! I picked up my new companion and let her out of the ball once I walked out of the cave. She seemed healthy. I wish I would have heard what she was thinking
I gave her the name LadyStep. An odd name
How It Began"God, your two o'clock is here."
"I have a two o'clock?"
"He's been here since 7:45. I figured it's only polite to... sir."
God sighed. "Fine, send him in."
While He waited God cleared His desk of papers and blueprints; no need for outsiders to see His plans. Soon enough the door to His office opened and God stood, smiled, held out a hand towards one of the two visitor's chairs.
"God! Great stuff you're doing in sector 2-7-0! Great stuff!"
The man's hands were clammy, his handshake limp. Rumpled suit, porkpie hat, briefcase... oh Jes-- oh dear, a salesman. God's smile slipped a little but He soldiered on gamely. With luck He could shoo the poor guy away in a few minutes.
"So, what can I do for you?"
The man sat, briefcase across his knees. "Sector 2-7-0! Everyone's talking about it! What do you call it? Man and merman?"
"Man and woman, actually. And thanks. But we're pretty busy around here, and..."
"Oh! Right! No time for the wicked, eh?" The salesman winked and popped his briefcase,
